DOUBLE-T SPORTS: NO-BETA
I would like to start off by thanking maxrx and Double-T Sports for giving me this awesome opportunity to do a sponsored supplement log. I Just got my NO-Beta package today, my friend picked it up from the UPS guy that showed up, and I decided to give him one of my free samples since he seemed interested in trying it out. I plan on giving out the rest of the samples to my workout partner and other friends in the gym.
Day 1: August 20, 2009:
I took 6 pills today, I wanted to assess my tolerance so I took 3 at first then another 3 later on (both on an empty stomach). Safe to say, the only noted physical effects so far is the mild tingling sensation on my face from the Beta Alanine content, but it's definitely not anything that I mind, and an overall hardness feeling to my arms (they also seem slightly larger as well). Today is actually an off day for me but I wanted to get a feel for how my body would react to the product, so far so good, and I'm surprised to see the effects already showing without me even working out (this is a great sign). I may be using this for other stuff as well, since it IS an N.O. product anyway
I will be training chest, triceps, and biceps tomorrow, and will be using NO-Beta right before my workout. I'm well experienced with NO products so I'm confident that my body will be able to handle high doses of this just fine (although I've had a few workouts that had to stop because the pump was so intense). I will be using 6 caps a day for 30 days, and keep everyone updated with progress pics. Good luck to everyone else with their NO-Beta logs! This looks like a product that will definitely deliver.

Update
Sorry for the delay, I've been busy as hell lately dealing with court stuff and other things. Anyway, here's an update on my log!
Day 2: August 21, 2009:
Well, since my gym membership just expired a few days ago (just remembered), I can't hit the weights until I renew it (either that or get a job there finally). And weights aren't accessible here at the house so I had to stick to bodyweight exercises (variations of pushups). I'm generally used to stimulant-based pre-workout supplements so I didn't have the rush that I'm generally used to, but I had an alright pump, especially for just pushups. I couldn't train biceps or shoulders, which definitely affected the way I would normally look after a training session. Here are a couple pics of me right after my workout. I took 3 tabs of NO-Beta pre-workout, and the other 3 when I woke up. My chest is usually a LOT bigger along with my arms after I train them, but without weights I won't get the same results..hopefully I should get a job at the gym by tomorrow or thursday if possible. I will start using 6 before I work out for now on to get bigger results:
Day 3: August 22, 2009:
Didn't work out today, took 6 pills in the morning. My muscles felt somewhat pumped during the day, but nothing like training. They still have a minor fullness feeling to them.
Day 4: August 23, 2009:
Another day without the weights, I'm starting to feel like crap since I haven't been working out hard like I usually do..I need to go back to the gym. I'm starting to get irritable. 6 pills in the morning.
Day 5: August 24, 2009:
Another lost day, 6 pills in the morning. I'm thinking about dropping NO-Beta during my off days because it feels wasted when I'm not training. I want to save them for my workouts since it seems that it would be more beneficial on those days anyway.
To Double-T reps: Would you advise on me saving them only for the days that I train?..or continue taking them everyday at 6 pills a day?Keep it weird, grow a beard, and grab a gun.

Day 6: August 29, 2009:
I decided to wait until now to try NO-Beta again because I wanted to save it until my next training session (but I'll be taking it everyday for now on). I got the "iron gym" today at Walgreens so I could do a halfway decent upper body workout since I don't currently have access to weights. I took 9 (!!!) pills right before my workout and I got one of the best pumps I've ever had without training with standard weights. I just did pullups, dips, and pushups. Here are my results from today:

Gary your pictures look great - You can tell you're on that bubble between getting where you are and getting really ripped - great underlying vascularity. I hope you stick with it and start using weights so we can see what happens. 9 tablets???? What did that feel like.

Thanks! I felt great, no overstimulation or jitters as with stimulant-based pre-workout supps, just the tingling effects from the beta-alanine. I probably should have waited a bit longer to take the NO-Beta as my stomach wasn't completely empty, but it wasn't really full at all either..I just had a snack beforehand. I'm going to up the dose to 12 pills pre-workout on an empty stomach next time to guage some serious effects. I definitely want to train with weights again so I can get my full pumps, everytime I'm at the gym I seem to look crazy in the mirrors lol.
But I'm far from where I want to be body-wise. I want to get about 15 pounds bigger and shredded. I want to see every muscle fiber in my body and have sick vascularity. I definitely need to start working abs again since I don't really have a pack anymore like I used to, but I'm also a lot bigger than I used to be. Once I get back on my new training regimen and diet I'll be set.Last edited by hvillpimp524; 08-30-2009 at 02:05 PM.

Day 7: August 30, 2009:
Took 6 pills today, mainly to keep the creatine levels in check and obtain the hardness feeling in my arms..and it's working out nice! I was extremely sore today, more than usual after my workouts, but my arms looks pretty swollen. I like it! I should be drinking a lot more water though, I ran out of my spring water and have to stick to tap water at the moment ()..but of course lots of H2O is a must with creatine.Last edited by hvillpimp524; 08-31-2009 at 10:52 AM. Day 8: August 31, 2009:
The standard 6 pills today, no training, but tomorrow is a sure-go. I'm still not drinking enough water so I'm constantly being dehydrated..I can't stand tap water (they put too much chlorine in it, and it will make me sick as hell sometimes). But I need to find a way to stay hydrated if I don't go to the store (I'm stuck out here in the country without a ride anywhere most of the time..serious). Maybe I'll just boil some water and drink a lot of tea.
Thanks man I've had better pumps before though..it really comes down to how I'm working out. Weights always make me look bigger..bodyweight exercises only go so far for me. I just did the bulging biceps workout yesterday at the gym (finally got to go since I've been out of training for almost 3 weeks!), and WOW..it was crazy..really intense workout, which on paper looked like a piece of cake to me. I was still kinda sore today before I hit the gym but I was in town and got a day pass so I didn't want to pass up on the opportunity to do some nice lifting. I still got great results.
Day 9: September 1, 2009:
Had an absolutely phenomenal workout today at the gym. I took 12 tablets pre-workout on an empty stomach and did the Bulging Biceps workout routine. I was tired today though, and since I haven't been training with weights for almost 3 weeks I feel as though my strength might not be as high as before. I didn't really eat anything before the gym besides a small amount of lasagna. I didn't try to max out on any lifts this time around, I had a stomach ache that was really bad and I believe it affected my performance. But the workout was intense, here was the routine that I did:
Chest & Triceps:
Warm Up Set:
Flat Bench:
- 1 Set x 10 Reps (65 pounds)
- 1 Set x 1 Rep (225 pounds)
Exercise 1: Flat Barbell Bench:
- 1 Set x 12 Reps (185 pounds)
- 1 Set x 8 Reps (185 pounds)
- 1 Set x 6 Reps (185 pounds)
- 1 Set x 8 Reps (155 pounds)
Exercise 2: Tricep Pulldowns:
- 1 Set x 16 Reps (120 pounds)
- 2 Sets x 10 Reps (150 pounds)
- 1 Set x Reps to Failure (150 pounds)
Exercise 3: Dumbbell Press:
- 1 Set x 8 Reps (70 pounds x2)
- 1 Set x 10 Reps (50 pounds x2)
- 1 Set x Reps to Failure (50 pounds x2)
Exercise 4: Shoulder Press:
- 1 Set x10 Reps (90 pounds)
- 1 Set x8 Reps (90 pounds)
- 1 Set x8 Reps (70 pounds)
- 1 Set x Reps to Failure (70 pounds)
Biceps (Bulging Biceps workout):
Warm Up Set:
Machine Preacher Curls:
- 2 Sets x 12 Reps (45 pounds)
Exercise 1: Barbell Curls:
- 3 Sets x 8 PC Reps (75 pounds)
- 3 Sets x 8 Reps (50 pounds)
Exercise 2: Standing Dumbbell Curls:
- 3 Sets x 8 PC Reps (Started at 35, then dropped to 25 pounds)
- 3 Sets x 8 Reps (Started at 25, then dropped to 15 pounds)
Exercise 3: Seated Machine Preacher Curls:
- 3 Sets x 8 PC Reps (Started at 90, then dropped to 45 pounds)
- 1 Set x Reps to Failure at 45 pounds
I was in intense pain, it was hard to complete a majority of the workouts because too much blood was being flown to my arms. Here are a couple pics of me after the workout:

Day 10: September 2, 2009:
&
Day 11: September 3, 2009:
Another 2 days off from lifting, I took 6 pills today to keep the fullness and creatine levels up..I think my arms are getting a little bigger! I need to get some measuring tape and see where I'm at so far. The last time I measured my biceps they were at 15.5 inches. I'm hoping to get to at least 16 inches by the end of the year. I just need to keep training harder and make sure I'm getting everything needed in my diet. My soreness isn't as high as I expected it to be, especially for how intense my bulging biceps workout was a few days ago. My recovery seems to be a little better than before. I can't wait for my next training session with NO-Beta!Keep it weird, grow a beard, and grab a gun.

Week of September 4-10: (Day 12-18):
6 pills a day as usual, same effects noted everyday, but I worked out on the 10th finally. Got a nice pump, but nothing over the top. My chest looked filled out even though I'm getting leaned up. It's hard for me to find my focus, even with the NO-Beta, mainly because I'm not always getting the sleep that I need. I definitely feel better once I'm on the NO-Beta, but I'm used to relying on stimulants to get me going when I'm hitting the weights. My muscles feel harder and fuller than before, but I think I hit a climax in terms of effects..maybe I need to up the dosage? Or should I take 3 in the morning and another 3 pre-workout? I've been taking 6 pills all at once right before my workouts or another time during the day. I haven't been eating enough either (I dropped down to 148 pounds!), and it's been affecting my strength in a negative way..but this is in no way related to the NO-Beta usage. Here was my workout routine for the 10th:
Pullups:
- 1 set x 14 reps
- 1 set x 8 reps
- 1 set x 5 reps
- 1 set x 8 reps (failure)
Dips:
- 1 set x 25 reps
- 1 set x 20 reps
- 1 set x 10 reps
Pushups:
- 1 set x 40 reps
- 1 set x 30 reps
- 1 set x 25 reps
Bicep Curls (I used a cinder block with chains lol):
- 1 set x 30 reps (42.5 pounds)
- 2 sets x 20 reps (42.5 pounds)
- 1 set x 12 reps (42.5 pounds) (failure)
I want to maximize the effects of NO-Beta on my body..should I change up something in my diet? (I'm definitely eating a lot more now, I've just been low on food lately). Should I be drinking at least a gallon of water a day to see optimal results?Keep it weird, grow a beard, and grab a gun.

I don't have a very consistent diet at the moment, so my calorie intake varies everyday..but I'm trying to get over 3000 in now. I was getting less than 1000 calories a day for almost a week! (That's why I dropped so much weight)..but I'm mainly losing bodyfat. I keep my protein intake generally high, I just have financial problems at the moment so getting a ton of food is kinda hard nowdays for me.

Week of September 11-17: (Day 19-25):
This week was pretty good in terms of effects..although I keep losing weight, I'm still at my peak in terms of strength. I'm just leaning up but keeping my muscle mass. I had an awesome workout on the 15th! I hit a new PR on bench press, repping 225 for 10 reps in my first set. I cut back to 6 pills before this workout, and I believe it's the optimal amount for me..for some reason I just had a ton of energy to expend at the gym this time around and I felt great the entire time! My training partner was there with me as well and that may have played a role in my performance. Final Review
Week of September 18-20: (Day 26-28):
My last few days on NO-Beta ended out great, I had a nice run while on this. The effects seem to be the same for the most part when I took them on my off-days, but every work out on it seemed to get better and better. I really enjoyed logging this product and I saw some nice results, the pumps were phenomenal and I can't believe I was able to hit a PR on my bench press on this! I was really impressed on my last work out with this.
Final Review:
Pump/Vascularity: 10/10 - the pumps on NO-Beta are great, and of course the most noticeable effect. My veins looked like they were breathing in my arms, I loved the way I looked during and after my workouts with NO Beta.
Strength/Endurance: 7/10 - My endurance levels were seemingly high on NO-Beta, the beta-alanine was great for me, and I could feel the effects quite nicely. My strength was good but I feel stronger with stimulants.
Focus/Energy: 6/10 - I'm generally used to stimulant-based pre-workout supplements, and find them a lot more effective at maintaining high energy levels during my workouts..but it was nice to not have jitters during my workouts and throwing up everywhere like I sometimes do when I have too many stimulants.
Overall Rating: 7.5/10 - A very good product for those seeking stimulant-free pre-workout supplements. The pumps were exceptional and my muscle endurance was great. I pumped out set after set like nothing, and the effects were more noticeably higher for me after every workout on it.Keep it weird, grow a beard, and grab a gun.
