Yes, we know there is no true starvation mode, i.e. your body can never outrun a caloric deficit. What we do know, is that your body will make metabolic adaptions to combat a caloric deficit. Perhaps, your bmr will decrease, or your body will become more efficient at burning calories through...

Starting Strength while on a cut, what to do about stalls?

I know in the actual program, stalling more than 2 or 3 times on squats and deadlifts calls for switching to an intermediate program. However, if you're doing it on a cut, how does this change things? Should you just try to maintain whatever weight it is you stalled at until its time to bulk? ...

Cardio while weight training is off limits

Hi, i am 21% bf and basically skinny fat. I was bulking for 2 months and added 4-5kg of muscle but my L5/S1 herniated disc keeps flaring up every month or so and basically around the time when I add more weight to the bar (esp with squats and bent over rows) I have worked a lot on form as well. ...

One-two month psmf, neg me if I don't get a six pack within two months.

Summer is coming, in my one year of lifting I lost about 80 lbs of fat, put on some muscle, but my original goal was to get a six pack by this summer, which due to some binging problems in past two weeks looks unlikely, so I decided to do psmf for month or two until I get shredded. I'll be weighing...

Some questions regarding proper cutting.

Cool Is it possible to lose fat but not lose weight..?

Title says it all, just wondering because I've noticed a lot of fat loss, literally when down 3xl to XL. But still same weight.. Can it be that I'm growing muscle, or I'm retaining water..? Or is this just a matter of "Patience.."?
