What should you use?

Sticky Thread Sticky: The Official Craigslist Thread (Round 3)

The last thread got up over 10,000 posts with too many people asking if they should pick up the bowflex down the street, so it's time to start a new one. Let's all keep our eyes open for the shake weights for .20/lb, strap on our Chucks, and speed away on our unicycles for those sweet pick ups....

Sticky Thread Sticky: The Official Power Rack Thread - August 2010 version

This is a collaborative effort from the equipment forum members. The 2008 edition has a lot of broken links and rather than keep that one going we decided to start a new one. First let’s have a few definitions to clear up some confusion. Squat Stands: These are probably the most useless...

Does anyone have a rack with 3" spacing and what are your thoughts

I'm debating upgrading my rack and really like the Elite FTS collegiate with plate storage but I'm skeptical about the 3" spacing. Having never used a rack with 3" spacing, is it hit or miss if it will work well for some exercises like benching. I can't imagine it's a big deal with squats.

knee, wrist wraps, joint support

Hey all, I've been a 100% raw lifter until I recently got a belt. (Bob's belt - awesome, amazing quality) anyway, that has helped me squat and deadlift with much more core stability. Its seems though, I'm still the only dude around not using wrist wraps, knee wraps, elbow name...

Dip attachment vs free standing dip rig

What are your thoughts on a dip attachment for a rack vs a free standing dip rig. Dove is not an issue. Sturdiness, efficiency, potentially having an attachment in the way are. We bought a dip rig for my wife that she brings to her boot camp class. It is sturdy and fits in the back of the suv....

Post I am looking to get the Perfect Multi-Gym pull-up bar, anyone got the dimensions?

Hi, I recently bought the Iron Gym Extreme, and upon assembling it I found out it absolutely did not fit my door-frame. My frame is way too thin, so it was hanging in an incline. Now I was suspicious about this before I ordered it, but I thought I'd try. Now I have returned it to the seller and...
