Sticky Thread Sticky: The Bench Form Thread

We see a lot of threads asking for bench form critiques on this forum. I feel like most of these threads are made because people don’t know how to critique their own form. They just don’t know what to look for. I’m hoping to narrow that gap with this thread. I’m not going to touch on everything,...

Weak bench press

I've been doing strong lifts 5x5 for 5 weeks now and overall it's going well. But I'm noticing my bench press is lacking way behind. I'm 6'3 and 87kg. My squat 1RM is 120kg my deadlift 1RM is 150kg but my bench 1RM is only 70kg. I had a friend of mine who's a personal trainer check my form and he...

Kneeling cable crunches

So I'm doing Jason Blaha's 5x5 novice routine. He says to do cable crunches where you kneel on the ground and hold the cable over your shoulders and crunch down for 3 sets of 10-20 reps. Well...its really damn easy. The weights only go up to 150. Im not sure if its just normal to do tons of reps...

Machine routine for those with physical limitations

I'm new. I'm 5'6 or 5'7, 155 lb, I am new to working out, but on top of this I have some neuro-physical limitations that AFAIK limit my ability to use free weights safely. I don't use free weights so much. I get that machines are the devil on bodybuilding forums, but I'm not looking to get very...

Can Leg Press replace Squats? One time at least?

I've recently added alternating incline curls to my routine and it's causing me some wrist pain. Basically if you're using a hammer grip, the soreness is on the underside of the wrist. How much Cardio is too much

Hi alll, Been trying to get my legs stronger and bigger and at the same time lose weight which means doing some cardio. I have been reading that too much cardio can reduce your leg size and get rid of muscle. So my question is how much cardio is to much? 1 mile, 2 miles, 5 miles?
