Can I implement the 5x5 method into my current routine and see results?

Like for squats can I do 5x5 and all of my other exercises like lunges, leg press, and calf raises. Do this for all of my compound exercises during whatever day I do it on, instead of doing the typical stronglifts squat, bench, and deadlift 5x5 all in one workout.
