Here are my top picks for shooting my appetite in the face:
Sugar free jello (super bomb, almost no cals, GO HAM)
Crystal light drink packets (5 cals each i believe and they make drinking tons of water less of a chore)
Kale Chips (sold at tons of stores now) great flavors to choose from, pretty good for you, very low calorie.
Diet Soda (I think i can build a fort out of the Vanilla Coke Zero cans laying around the house) 0 cals, watch the sodium though.
and when the major hunger hits me and i know im close to my daily cal. limit, i smash down a pan of egg whites or a whey protein shake blended up with ice, cacao powder, and crap like that. make it as big as possible with very little calories.

Water - many times you feel hungry you are actually thirsty
Protein - when your body is short on protein you will be hungry. Increase the % of protein in your food.
Fibre/sugars - lower glycemic index (essentially how fast you use the energy and how consistent the burn/crash is) and higher fibre will take longer to digest and process)
Track Calories - tracking calories and enabling yourself to more efficiently spread them out will give you more heads up and allow you to feel full for a higher % of the day

Plan your day and know your body.
If you wake up starving, but are usually fine after dinner then front load your cals early in the day. If you're fine till after 3, and could eat like a horse till 7 (like me). Then start your day light and reserve cals for afternoon/evening.
And definitely crush water all day. One gallon a day is a nice round number to shoot for, but really some people put down 1.5 - 2 gals a day.
