What a great season!! Aside from all the personal accomplishments, you've done so much for this sport by sharing your journey with us and making yourself available to anyone and everyone that takes an interest. I can't even imagine how many natural bodybuilders you've inspired to take up this great sport and step on stage this year. Thank you Alberto!

lol I think its cool as hell that Brett finally got to chill with you in person. I probably missed it if it was mentioned before, but what are your plans now as far as the off-season? What type of duration are you looking at? Any particular focus (I see E's focused on his lats right now IIRC)?
Only if you reach the boundary will the boundary recede before you. And if you don't, if you confine your efforts, the boundary will shrink to accommodate itself to your efforts. And you can only expand your capacities by working to the very limit.

Seriously guys....You guys are way too much. Thank you for everything and as soon as I get back I am going to start a new log. I want to put it down in plenty of detail how a middle of the road pro bodybuilder turned into something else. Lot of shhh talking in that last line, but it can and will be done.
You are your thoughts, and I am just speaking them. :P100% Natural Bodybuilding!

Oh and I will be in the ATL airport tomorrow, so I will be vlogging. Please excuse the crumbs on my face, as I saw a few pastries there that looked great! Been on a bran muffin kick of late.

Man I would have definitely come up to the airport to see you, it's literally 10 minutes away from me, but tomorrow is one of my best friend's wedding and I won't be able to make it. Still very glad to have gotten the chance to meet you earlier this year though and huge congrats on 6th place at the Yorton. I'm still lurking and look forward to your new log. As I and many have told you numerous times before, you inspire us all much more than you can imagine.

congrats on all your success alberto!
that vlog you posted (vlog 4: quinoa or pizza?) inspired me to change up my dieting and give the IIFYM-style dieting a shot. I just did my first competition and was a zombie the last 4 weeks of my diet, but you were in 10,000 times better shape and seemed happier and more energetic than i was. Yesterday was my first day doing it, and i'm kicking myself for not trying it earlier. I set my macros close to what i had been eating with my "clean food" diet, but i didn't even come close to them because i felt so satisfied by the foods i ate (not meeting those macros was ideal- i'm trying to reverse diet ATM and my appetite had been making it a challenge). thanks for the inspiration, and for making my outlook on my future contest preps MUCH brighter!

It's definitely a mind = blown moment isn't it! I remember for the first two weeks dieting on IIFYM I felt dirty, and that I was somehow cheating the whole process. But as my cut progressed, I had to keep telling myself wow how much easier is this than sticking to a set list of foods, I can actually walk out of the house without packing food and be confident I'm not going to derail my prep!
I honestly feel sorry for the other 99% of people preparing for competitions limiting their food choices and hating life the entire time, but you try and convince them they don't need to be this way and they don't believe you.
