mornin/evenin.
i should note - they were pre-cooked, pre-shelled, and i had split them open before heating them. i had successfully microwaved some earlier in the day, but i had had to heat them twice since 15 secs wasn't enough... i was trying to heat them in just one go - two of those earlier timed cycles combined when it happened.
my aunt bought a bag of chips and i don't usually buy chips. i wanted to watch Game of Thrones after she went to bed, and to stay awake i ate some. some became the entire bag, 1400 or so cals over two nights...
i don't buy regular soda in bulk anymore either, but i bought a six-pack of 240 cal bottles of root beer on Friday. i now have one of those bottles left, and i finished off another 240 cal bottle of coke ystrdy on top of all of that.... at least i’m getting in some gym time/time with weights.
we’re still going strong but some of our regulars have gone on hiatus. (this was in reference to the 12 week challenge thread)
(note for lurkers - a May 1 challenge has started.)
i did some foam rolling for the first time the other day. good stuff! i think i’ll buy a roller for use at home.
my dad owned a farm in Alabama in the 80s and he used to sell boiled peanuts. i remember it was hard to keep them fresh. i think i’ll ask him for more details.
i can’t stand roasted peanuts but i love peanut butter ice cream and cookies. :d
lol! more details, pls. metaphorically?

I just realized I have a pretty weird pre-workout ritual, which is to clean the house. Serves as a nice warmup and allows me to focus and prepare to lift/exercise, especially on the bad headache days.

This exercise-induced nausea is getting annoying, whenever I deadlift above 510lbs it feels like I am going to throw up at the end of my set and it gets worse the heavier I lift.
I swear I am going to puke one of these days, probably going to happen when I finally get 600lbsMy story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

Znik, you may very well revive LF chat alone! I have a ritual of not cleaning. I need to do better. Perhaps i should instill "clean as you cook" in my daily routine. Chalk it up as extra cardio.
**** folding clothes though.
--------------------------
So far cut going well. enegry is up and i'm feeling moderately good. Need to get a little more sleep.
Also i don't know i can read the logs much more. I'm going to go insane. I read in one log a guy did 7 hours of cardio in one day. His method of losing is "Fast and Furious" pretty much. He said it is what works for him. I question it because as soon as he stops, he blows back up like a balloon at a party store...

I always clean the kitchen as I cook so it's spotless by the time food is done, Rita doesn't and it drives me mad every time she makes dinner the kitchen is trashed.
Good to hear the cut is going good, mine is improving as well now that I got proper calorie intake again.
Don't read fat logs much, too much bro-science and such, 7 hours of cardio in a day is crazy. Especially when I think of my 1-2 hours 2-7 times a week is excessive.
Ill be doing a 8 hour cardio session this summer, but that's because I am going to Kjerag, which is one of the mountains here and it's a 8 hour trip up and down. Rita might tag along so it's probably going to be 12 hoursMy story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

Sweet, how many calories do you eat to achieve that ?
Abs doms is among the worst, scared as hell to laugh or cough or the absolute worst, having a really powerful sneeze.
I am noticing some brand new veins this cut or at least they are far more visible so going to be pretty interesting to see how it is when I get shredded. Want to get some tricep veins this cut, only seen those like once.My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

Ab soreness sucks, and this routine i'm doing them twice a week 3 exercises, tabat style, 20 sec on, 10 sec off, 8 rounds. hanging leg raises was up first. by round four i was getting lik 3-5 reps per 20 seconds. lol i still had to do decline reverse crunches and bicycle crunches. i'm loathing laughing at anything tomorrow.
------------------
So i got jumped a page unknowingly. I'll just say i agree with you guys when it comes to the recent gender movement.
-------------------------
Oh i don't mind cardio when you're doing an activity. Like heck playing golf is an 8 hour session (kinda), but seven hours on stationary equipment sounds like torture to me. or an episode of the biggest loser.

Sounds like a good glycogen depletion routine. I usually do my ab day in a circuit style adding rest time between exercises for each set (like 1st round no rest, second round 30 sec rest, third round 1 min rest)
Usually consists of hanging leg raise, heavy side bends, weighted situps on max decline, woodchoppers, ab wheel rollouts, russian twists finishing with bicycle crunches.
And do the next ab day with main focus on strength and heavy load, 1-3 min rest time, similar as the circuit but heavier loads.
Lately started doing leg raise and twists while lying on the bench, that **** gets brutal as you progress moving more and more of your body off the bench. Currently at around middle of my back want to get to only shoulders being on the bench. Pretty similar to dragonfly holds except you don't let legs touch the floor nor do you start from the top but rather at the bottom. My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

Figured it would be something like that, would say it sounds horrible but I actually think I could do that with my current messed up appetite.
Currently at around 1000-1100kcal today and about to go to bed, don't feel like eating any more. 95% of it has been protein/fat so won't do me any harm but the high deficit probably gonna punish me tomorrow.
Ill just eat more tomorrow to compensate.
Kure: I can do 1-2 hours fine on the stationary bike while watching some movie or series, but by that time glycogen depletion hits, legs start getting tired and two hours on the bike starts to ache slightly on the seating region even with padded shorts
I would never be able to do it in a gym or similar, need to have something good to watch and you forget that you are actually doing cardio. In a gym without my series/tv I do like 5-10 min and think fuk this boring stuff and go do something else.My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

No Fimbulvetr over here, hardly any snow this winter and mostly above freezing.
Deadlifts not too bad, most of the people I've trained here struggle a fair bit with 220-240lbs. But those are usually super untrained and don't know proper form.

So now tooth decay is on the rise and the dentist group here is starting to fear a new tooth decay epidemic.
