I just talked on the phone with an ex-coworker friend that I worked with like 5yrs ago. She's been out of work since Oct too. And just like I thought, there was nothing over the holidays, and she's just starting to get calls from some consulting companies now.

She was telling me that there's not been much out there from what she's been seeing. And she's alot more experienced that I am too, so it's kinda depressing. And all the calls she's been getting at all are all for job assignments that are out of state. She's ok with that cause she's got no family and doesn't care if she travels full time. But I know I can't do that unless I'm really desperate cause that means I won't be seeing my son much.

I need to win the lottery...not even a bazillion dollars. I just want enough so that I can pay all my debts, and then maybe still work but not worry about how much I make and won't have to kiss ass to climb the ladder or put up with crap like I was doing in my last job.

30 Dl of 135, 30 Burpee, 30 squats with no weights in 20 minutes AMRAP


I did 3 rounds in 20 minutes



Prior we did deadlifts and surprised myself and DL'd 335x4 easily. I haven't really went this heavy since I injured it a while ago getting careless with DL. I think I can get the 405 finally. Will try this weekend.

How many reps could you have gotten with 335? If 6-8, then you should be good to go for 4 plates

Damn sorry to hear brah...Like I said look into establishing your own business. Find that niche and translate your dedication and commitment in the gym to get the physique but this time do it for your kid and for your business. Reason why I love watching In Pursuit of Happyness. Seriously that movie keeps me hungry and stays grinding.

Keep looking bro and don't give up! I have no idea what you do for a living, but have you thought about retraining for something else that's in demand? I know it's hard to take a step back (or start over!) but sometimes demand dries up for your line of work - at least locally.

How's the cut coming along man?

I'm on my timberwolf bulk now just taking in 2800-2900 calories a day now and gonna keep raising until I get to about 3300 calories a day. I already gained back 1.5 lbs and my abs look even better.
