    Question Beginner gains with squats

Hey i was wondering what the normal begginer gains would be for squats in the first month. So far i have gotten 50 lbs on my max. So i was just wondering if this was good or alright for me being a newbie. Thanks

no, it sucks, slit your throat

seriously, as long as you'r giving it your all, no matter how much you gain or how much you lift, you're doing great.

If your a newbie the weight you move is irrelevant - just concetrate on the form - once thats nailed you'll get adding weight

Sounds good. Do however much it takes to make you train intensely with good form of course.

I'd say thats pretty normal, but I definately agree with the idea you shouldn't worry about the weight untill you get the form down.

Especially with really heavy lifts, such as squats.
