I see alot of bodybuilders eat oats, I also am told that I shouldn't eat cereal--why not? You eat oats because they are calorie dense, right? Well Cereal has even more calories and it tastes better. Both have the same aount of protein, even if that protein is not good quality. And you get 8g of protien per serving form the milk with cereal. So why oats? The only differenece I see on the Nutritional facts between oats and cereal and oatmeal is that the latter two have more sugar. I know too much sugar is bad for you, but it really isn't that much compared to eatring a cookie or drinking a coke. Plus the cereal I buy is organic, so it's not corn syrup and processed sugar, its good sugar like the kind found in a apple or strawberry.

When I asked some diet questions in another thread, people told me to cut cereal form my diet, ans some told me to eat alto of oats to gain weight. Don't worry, the worst I eat is frosted mini-wheats which has some nutritional value. I don't like the lucky charms, coacoa pepples kind of stuff--blech!
