Hello there! I'm from the UK too, guys and gals-Coventry, but not originally, thank the good lord above. Feeling very smug about my progress so far, but still aware I have a way to go before I get to where I want to be. How is everyone?

I'm from Liverpool, but I go to my Dad in Stockport on most weekends..

What gym do you train in when you're in Stockport? (To the guy who said he was from there) I use the Powerhouse gym ran by Carl & Gary, not sure if you know it.

When I'm in Liverpool it's Fitness First in Aintree.

anybod train at either of these places?

I train at GYM 21 in Kensington. Fitness first any good?

Alright mate, I've heard a lot about that gym for sure!!!

& no it's ****, aaprt from the staff being ignorant and always trying to close before shutting time, they even took away drinking taps at a ****in commercial gym! Pathetic. The equipment isnt bad, although they really do need something like a 45 degree leg press and something for hack squats.. the dumbells don't go heavier than 45 kg as well, which is ****, and they say it's because health and safety reasons.

A few of my older mates use to go to gym 21, I heard that a lot of bouncers from town go there as well? What's it like in there equipment wise and how much does it cost? When I start driving I'm thinking of switching to there..

Yeah, lots of bouncers. Mate Paul works as a bouncer for Fudge/Krazyhouse.

Equipment is great. Dumbells go up to 200lb, hack squat machine, leg press, preachers etc. All olympic style. Theres a bistro to buy protein and carb drinks from and you can buy supps. If you need water, you can get it from the kitchen tap for nothing. As for closing times, Allen once kept it open an extra 20 minutes so I can finish my set.

Shiremoor to be exact, which is near Whitley Bay although some people will argue i live in Northumberland but my postal address says NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE!

Think the sun's been shining all over today. 21.5C was the hottest outside temp my car read. Probably hotter a bit earlier as that was around 5pm. Windows down, sunroof open... wishing I had a convertible lol.

From Loughborough here so right smack bang between, Notts, Leics and Derby. Will be moving to either Westminster or up to Manchester for uni soon though so if anyone knows any good gyms around there - nothing to corperate-couldnt stand going to a fitness first/virgin gym, spit and sawdust all the way!
