I did do a bit searching here before posting, but I haven't seen any real review or comparisons between regular straps and hookers. I definitely need some extra grip when doing BB row and deadlifts. I'm really wanting to try out the hooker gloves but I'm not too sure about them. I would go with the regular straps but they seem confusing to use lol (when strapping the second last strap one-handed lol). Advice & recommendations plz.

Bump.
I kind of narrowed down my choices to these 3. What do you guys think?
1. Versa Gripps: (look like a quality product - anyone got any reviews on these? https://www.versagripps.com/cart/ind...2&pod_cat_id=1
2. Haulin Hooks: (these look crazy but it has a combination of both hook and straps)
http://www.fitstep.com/fitness-equip...oks-review.htm
3. Harbringer Straps (can never go wrong with Harbringer)

Help plz.

I just tried the RD Hooker straps from this site for the first time today -- They work alright, but they aren't even close to big enough to velcro around my wrist - If they fit around my wrist, I'd recommend them
Raising the bar over and over again ... literally
you've got to build the walls before you can paint them

Do you order supps etc from BB.com? You can request free straps when you order (lookup threads on free straps for the exact wording to use)... these are basic straps but they work well and will give you the chance to try them out - for nothing!
At first it takes some practice putting the straps on the bar one-handed but after a while it is no problem, plus the straps tend to keep their curled-shape after a while as well making it even easier to put them on.
