What would you choose?

I keep coming back to this question as there is no right answer. Logic says a shotgun would be key for a number of reasons, namely power, configuration and types of ammo. A long barrel with rifled slugs would give you decent range and quality power, while an 18-inch barrel would give you power and versatility. Ammo holding is the big key here, as it holds little ammo 5-6 shells depending on your shotgun and reloading is a bitch.

Personally, I would go with an AK-47. Reliable first of all with decent range an accuracy, good stopping power especially with hand loads and hollow tips, and reloading is a breeze so in a tight pinch you can keep shooting and moving.

Though I would probably choose a 1911 .45 simply because it's small, plenty of ammo all over and I don't plan on getting close to zombies if a breakout ever did occur, but if I did I know I would have the right amount of knockdown power.

I would choose a longer hunting knife. Sicne we are talking zombies, they are incredability slow. I can easily stab them in the neck to kill them. If there in a large group I can just run away. No need to reload and risk running out of ammo either which could lead to major slow downs or death. Also they can get pretty heavy which would also slow you down. I'd choose a knife like this so I can punch them too.

G3 as long as there is ample ammo. It is very effective and puts pretty holes in things. M4 isn't bad either. It is useful for cloesr quarters and is all accurate as long as it is properly zeroed.
