I'm 21, and over the past few months of my change of lifestyle, I noticed loose hair in my hands after shampooing, gelling my hair, towel drying, etc. Now I can pretty much see my hair thinner and not as think as it used to be. I even had a friend comment on how it looks different.
Now I keep hearing about weight loss and hair loss being linked, but I follow a strict and proper diet, take a multivitamin daily, and only take other natural supplements, such as CLA, flax seed, and fish oil.
Genetically, I don't see how that can affect me as my father is 89 and has a full head of hair.
Any ideas?

I believe male baldness is linked to your mother's side of the family so even though your father has a full head of hair - if your grandfather on your mother's side was bald, this may be where your hair loss is inherited.
Oh, and sometimes lifestyle change, stress, and losing weight too quickly can cause hair loss.

Can you lose body hair with fat loss?
I notice a lot of trim guys that show off their bodies have little or no body hair, and all of them can't be shaving. The reason I ask is I am a gorilla, and one of my rewards for hitting my weight loss goal is to get a tat. I'd like to get it on my mid, upper back, but what's the point if I have to shave every other day in the summer just to show it off? LOL
My other reward is to be fitted to a new suit.

Unfortunately, we know very little about the genes that cause male pattern
baldness. Though it is a commonly held belief, there is no convincing
evidence to suggest that this type of hair loss is inherited from the
mother. In fact, although many scientists claim that male pattern baldness
is caused by a defect in a single gene, it is likely that it is due to
abnormalities in several genes.

I'd wager that your hair loss is due to changes in your hormone levels from lifting and eating differently. Higher testosterone can spur hair loss if you are prone to it.
Consider getting some nirazol shampoo... it's amazingI've gained and lost over 100lbs more times than any man alive should. Do as I say and not as I do.

I still have all my hair
The real magic is that it cured me of dandruff and dry scalp.... all my life I used over priced T-Gel and/or head and shoulders... but my head was always a flakey mess.
I used nirazol twice and never had a flake since. Now I use it exclusively. It's GOOD shampoo. Leaves your hair very healthy looking too.I've gained and lost over 100lbs more times than any man alive should. Do as I say and not as I do.

You know, my wife is having this same problem now. over the last week she has started to see her hair come out in clumps when brushing or running fingers through her hair. It's alarming to say the least, she has never had this problem before.
She's gone from 34+/-% bf to 18% since mid August. Her diet is lean, but very nutritious and she takes multi vitamin/fish oils/etc.
Anyone else have an idea other than it's hereditary. That is defintiely not her case here.http://www.mikevifquain.com - My weight loss Journey starts now, again.
