Cardio after eating a meal? bad right?

I was wondering if someone could tell me if exercising after eating dinner is bad... someone once told me to wait 1 hour after eating before exercising because it's bad to exercise with a stomach full of food... was wondering if someone could explain that to me and why? Thanks!

you're probably not going to burn fat, and you might cramp up with a full stomach. Other than that, it's not bad for you. It's just not the root people around here take because they are mainly concerned with losing fat.

if you're main concerning is losing fat, don't do it, unless it's a no carb meal. insulin, which is produced when you eat carbs, blunts fat burning. u should wait at least 3 hours after eating a carb containing meal to actually burn fat doing cardio.

No I mean for health reasons. Not about losing weight or fat or anything, just bad for your body in general. I was told about it and was told that some people die from exercising after eating.... now I mean going for a bike ride, or running or whatever... just exercise that makes you work hard.... any ideas?
