    Quick Question - Back exercises

Hi, I need some good back exercises to use in my routine anybody got some good suggestions to build some mass... Maybe deadlifts/rows and stuff?

    Are lat pull downs useful?

    Any suggestions

    Thanks

For mass, try bent over BB rows TO THE WAIST. Deadlifts are good too. Pulldowns are good for width, but not a "mass" exercise per se.

    Exercise - Rep Range

    Deadlifts - Strength

    Bent-Over Rows - Hypertrophy

    T-Bar Rows - Hypertrophy

    Seated Cable Rows - Hypertrophy

    Wide-Grip Pull-ups - Strength

Lat Pulldowns are a pretty good exercise, but I prefer the ones above over it.

Lat pulldowns are great. They are one of my fav excercises. They may not build mass, but they mainly target your upper lats whereas rows tend to work your mid and lower back more. And if you can do widegrip pullups, they're better, but you can still do lat pulldowns to further exhaust your muscles when you can't do pullups anymore.

I basically do everything that Peaked listed except for T-Bar rows.

yup, that's my routine right now, except take out the bent over rows and you've got mine...I think doing T bars and barbell row in the same session is kinda like almost doing the same thing twice. Given me great gains...and yea, no matter what people say, I still do my cable rows and I friggin love em to finish off my back routine. But a lot of people won't touch em. It really just depends on you...try some of the suggestions on here and go for it. Your routines can always be tweaked on a pretty consistent basis, I always try and do that
