The Russian Army is a craphole. The soldiers are poorly and irregularly paid and newbies are routinely bullied and beaten. They have their food stolen by older soldiers. The suicide rate is ridiculously high. Obviously this leads to the kind of apathetic and demoralised rabble that gets slaughtered when they go into battle. Which is why a bunch of stroppy peasants with rifles in Chechnya kicked the **** out of the Russians.

Anyway, yes Russian army is a crap hole, its not a career path that American army is, its an ARMY. You go there, get trained, bullied and kicked the **** out of, then you go to war, if you survive then consider yourself lucky. you go home a different man.

As far as Chechnya goes, thats an ongoing battle that will go for ages, just like Iraq for America.

Let's see, our military DESTROYED an Iraqi force that invaded Kuwait and had one of the top 5 Air Forces in the world in no time and we only lost about 180 soldiers.

Our military recently rolled into Iraq again, after years of Iraq not complying with the WORLD'S DEMANDS (the UN), and again, crushed the Iraqi military.

You also are probably one of the first to say that the U.S. had no allies when debating whether or not the US should have invaded in the first place. Am I right?

It is compulsory for every 18yr old, unless they get into uni. And getting into uni takes a lot of work, which many fail to do.

THey have to to serve for 3years min. Many do not come back home.

I was in the Army and have no problems with this vid at all. Its all mental conditioning.

We got the **** beat out of us but the only difference is that the drills never touched us. all it does is make you a stronger person as a result
