Does this happen when you lose weight fast?

Sounds to me, since he said it was sore above the navel, that he has some sort of bacterial infection INSIDE his navel. I would go and have it looked at. Maybe some anti-biotics can clear that pain and smell up.
When you lose weight real fast, your body will dip into protein for energy. One of the first things your body cannibalizes are your muscles and your immune system. You could have comprimised your immune system this way.
I remember a long time ago when I first tried a 'fasting' diet that I ended up riddled with boils as a result. Trust me when I say you don't want to do that. It wasn't pleasant at all.Last edited by KingOfChaos; 02-26-2005 at 08:14 AM.
