Hi,
I've recently been diagnosed with arthritis in my spine (spondylitis) and was wondering how I should workout around this?
Excessive overexertion makes this problem a lot worse, for example a set of deadlifts would leave me in agony the next day... as a result, the heavy weights exercises are out, deadlifts, squats, bench pressing (could get away with this) and I used to be doing those exercises, now I'm going to have to change the way I workout.
I'm semi-satisfied with my physique right now, I just want some more muscle mass and less bodyfat, to attain a lean, yet muscular physique, I'm not planning to compete and I'm not going for brute strength as that would be silly, considering my condition.
I'm actually going to get into a lot of cardio (mainly cycling if possible) but I don't want to be some skinny dweeb, so if anyone can think of ideal workouts for me to do (with the weights) then I would be glad.
I'm 19, 5'10, 180lbs, roughly 12-15% bodyfat, if you want any stats I think they are in my profile.

Bodybuilding without the big lifts?
Stick to the basics, heavy compund lifts, some isolation work and a hell of a lot of food and rest!
