Any advice.
As it gets hotter, my garage turns into a furnace. By the time I get to the floor, deads & cleans, I'm sweating like a pig.
As I use more and more chalk, the bar gets slippery & slimy. No matter how much chalk I use or wiping I do, it gets worse.
Anyone have this problem? More importantly anyone have any solutions. I'll start missing lifts soon.

Gloves? Wraps? AC? Fan? Getting another bar so you can switch off? Working out at night when its cooler?

"225, 315, 405 whatever. Yeah these benchmark digits come to mean a lot to us, the few warriors in this arena. They are, however, just numbers. I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel

I did a little thinking about the gloves. Maybe get two pair. I don't use them but I used to play a lot of golf during hot weather. I know the slimy feeling you are talking about. A couple of pair would help you have a dry pair handy.
Fans sound like a good idea, too.
BTW, New Jersey? Hot??
Come to Texas some day!!

Well, I'd use the damn chalk anyway, see just how bad they feel like enforcing their rules. Of course, I'd clean up after myself, wipe off the floor and stuff. But yeah. No chalk is a dumbass rule. If they have barbells, they MUST allow chalk, or I'll find somewhere else to lift.
One of the gyms that I lift in actually has a chalk stand. I love that place. How does one destroy darkness? The answer dawned upon my mind, blinding in it's brilliance. To destroy darkness, one must simply expose it to the light.
