If I can't really see the cut my shoulder makes into the bi/tri area distinctly unless I flex, does that just mean my bodyfat needs to be lower?

I kinda have the same problem, but im on a high calorie diet to gain mass.. What you mentioned.. i have a problem with, but only on one arm lol, however they're both the same size
