Can you increase stamina by running\jogging on a treadmill?
If so, how long should be the sessions taken in?
Problem concerning running\jogging: Whenever I run whether it was in soccer or in general, I feel that my shins are sore, as if my weight was heavily pressuring them. Is that normal? Or is there a cure?

shin splints
Why do I do this, live with the constant pain, the suffering, the sacrifice? Why?
Because I can. Because pain tells me I'm awake. Reminds me I'm alive

Yeah generally running whever will increase your stamina. What I did for about 5 months at the beginning of last year to may of last year, was I started off running a mile a day, and just kept on progressing from that to 1.25 mile, etc etc to a point where I could run 4 miles. I probably could have run 3 miles at the beginning but not at a good pace at all. By the time I was finished I was running like a 22-24 minute 3 mile. I don't think it really matters where you run, just how much. Just keep in mind that on a treadmill the conditions are super ideal, so don't expect to run the same amount in the same time outside.
Now that I have started lifting however, I am back to square one. Owell.
