Are there any IFBB Pros or well-known "Gurus" in the LA area who give personal training sessions?
The only guy I could find is Milos Sarcev ($350/hour)...

not the most helpful comment.
motivations for Pro personal training can actually go beyond just gear use.
It can help with perfecting form, correcting regimes, nutrition tips etc... and of course, you get to train with a pro!
Heck, I would have paid $350 if I could have had a personal training session with Arnie or Franco back in the day

there's lots of pros that can offer online training......they won't be there training with you but it will be a lot less expensive than if they were........and they won't all just tell you to take a bunch of juice.....if that was all that was necessary than we could all be pros.....i'm working with a pro online right now and it's the best investment i've ever made with my training.......and he has told me NOT to take juice.........

yeah id agree with the P.T.A idea.... there are a good few pros working for that company, and a lot of the rest of the p.t.a. people will train out of golds in venice. they seemed to know there stuff (well the ones i spoke with or took notice off as i was doing my own training.)

Checked out PROPTA but they don't seem offer any real info on how to get in touch with their "students". Most of the contact phone numbers there are dead ends.
Charles Glass website seems to be gone as well. Anyone knows what happend or how to contact him?
But Gold's Gym in Venice seems to be the key... their webiste http://www.goldsgym.com/gyms/trainers.php?gymID=0111
doesn't show too many trainers but it seems they can hook me up with someone.
Thanks a lot for the info!

Being an IFBB pro doesnt necessarily mean they know more about training than most personal trainers.
From what Ive seen, most IFBB pro's have horrible form and mostly genetics and drugs working for them.
Personally, im againts personal trainers because you can find all the info out there, but if i was to pay someone, i would save the cash and not get an IFBB pro.
