I could never in a million years imagine staying at an AirBnB, just the thought of sleeping in a random person's house, spare bedroom or whatever else they were renting out, freaked me the hell out.

Use to stay at Airbnb's exclusively a few years back but have now gone back to hotels.
Only way I'd get an airbnb now is if I actually want the space of an entire house+ garage on a trip.
Along with the fee's and rules they want you to clean the place up as well (while charging cleaning fee). I've also ran into the issue of booking an airbnb in another city only to get there and find that the place wasn't ready or the host ****ed up and now I have to scramble to get a place last minute.
Probably won't stay in Airbnb again. Hotels are more reliable with better service, and often is cheaper these days anyways.Last edited by Islandboyo; 05-09-2024 at 08:33 PM.

i had an airbnb once where the keypad lock to get in wasn't working and the host wasn't responding so i had to wait 3 hours outside the house with all my stuff until she finally came

Stayed in one with a heap of mates the night of a wedding once. Got a text message at 2am saying they were looking at the camera over the spa and told us to send everyone home as parties were banned. Had 20 odd people back there.
Can only imagine the **** they've seen ppl do in that spa.
