Same. When I was 18 I had a summer job building power lines and my foreman was missing his left ring finger from the ring getting caught and pulling it off. The only time I wear my metal ring is to suit and tie functions and I take it off as soon as I get home. I like my fingers and silicone rings feel better anyway

Years ago I worked for a fabrication shop. Building power plant stuff. Guys had to come into the office for free gloves. One guy was missing his wedding ring finger. He always stuffed that finger inside the glove. He said he was welding a beam about 8' off the ground. When he was done he jumped down. His ring caught on the beam. Tore his finger off and his tendon to his elbow. He hit the ground, looked up and his finger with tendon was still on the beam.
I wear a wedding ring but most of the time its one of those silicone ones.

99% of them are like that my guy. Hunting for a unicorn is great and all but unlikely to succeed.
I've also seen threads about how dumb diamonds are. Logically, miscers are right about that. But good fking luck explaining to a sloot that you don't want to get her a big diamond ring that she can flex to her friends about.

Must be a cultural and lifestyle thing. Sounds horrible living among a bunch of materialistic sloots. I'm not sure if you are outdoorsy at all. But 95% of outdoorsy women could care less about how big their wedding ring is or if you even wear one. I bet 19/20 of my wife's good friends don't care. Same with my friends wives. I hang out of with a very outdoorsy crew, backpacking, camping. mtn biking, whitewater rafting and kayaking, etc, etc. I can confirm they don't care. I'm guessing the sloots you mention are also into fancy restaurants, brunch dates, spa days, etc. I would suicide myself, srs.
