For me it has to be Noah's Ark being built and Noah collected a bunch of animals and saving them - like how did Noah catch and feed the animals, etc.
Much harder to believe than God creating man, etc.
The craziest part is that many other traditions confirm that there was a global calamity, a great deluge at some point in time...

In your opinion, what's the hardest part of the bible to believe happened?

All of it.
It's more like which part literally happened, I'd say none. It's a well written propoganda/story book.
E.g. Göbekli Tepe was 10k years or so BCE, and by the carvings there was clearly a religion thing going on, and that general culture extended around a large area. Imagine how many religions and variants were active in that area let alone across the world at that time. It's fair to theorise that Neanderthals had religion considering they had language. How far back does their religion go (most likely further than ours). How many religions had risen, lasted longer and faded into complete obscurity thousands upon thousands of years before Christianity or Islam. And here we are a mere 2k years later taking this chit seriously.
I wonder if religion will be taken seriously in 100 years let alone another 1000. If society and tech keeps going the way it is without an apocolypse.01110011 01101000 01101111 01110010 01110100 01110101 01110010 01101100 00101110 01100001 01110100 00101111 01100110 01101111 01000101 01010011 00111000

That people in 2023 literally believe the stories rather than draw inspiration and messages from them. brb people actually looking for an ark that held 2 of each animal on the planet. brb a human female can birth an offspring without ever having been inseminated. brb a man can rise from the dead. The list goes on and on. It's mind-numbing that people actually believe these stories that were written literally 2000 years ago by primitive human beings.

Some people do. Humans will believe anything. It's actually pretty interesting when you think about it from a psychological perspective. Look at scientologists and what they believe. Some people are so lost that they're literally willing to manufacture an alternate delusional reality to cope. I find it impressive. Why do you think people in jail with no hope 'find jesus' while they're in there? What's the alternative? I'm spending the rest of my life in a cell with no hope and I will die alone or jesus will allow me to atone for my sins so at least I can experience a pleasant afterlife?

Of all the parts of the bible, I actually believe Noah's Ark to be based on some kind of truth.
I believe there probably was a worldwide major flooding event, and some whack job collected what he could save which included some animals. I'm not saying he had a boat full of Tigers, Elephants etc, maybe just some basic ones. And the fifth rule and most important, work your but off.
I lived in the time of Zyzz. RIP Sweet Prince.

The part about how it's only two more weeks to flatten the curve, masks aren't effective but then they are and you are anti science for not wearing one, vaccines are effective but you still need to mask up and social distance, vaccines aren't causing heart issues in teens etc etc.
Oh wait that was just modern scientific literature not the bible...sorry

All of it, even the messages it wanted to impart have been tainted.
Perfect example of this is the song it’s cold outside. One single throwaway line of “hey what’s in this drink?” has been misinterpreted as rapey when it was actually a common phrase in 1944 when the song came out. The line was used to represent someone asking why their alcoholic drink was weak, and is like a good natured dig.
As of a few years ago the dumbest among society agreed that it meant some kind of bill Cosby drugging for date rape. This meant an innocent turn of phrase went from a joke to rape within 70ish years based on how things are interpreted.
Now imagine a book like the Bible, originally released 100s of years ago. Translated how many times? Influenced and manipulated by kings and other people of power along the way. There is no way a modern Bible has the same nuance and subtext as an original, and people take it to mean whatever they want to justify what they do.Lurking since '05 - the days of VS gorilla/cloud/goku threads

You don't have to believe or not believe in **** when given a question like that. Do I believe time is infinite? My answer is who fuking cares? I do not have nor am I interested in finding those answers. Do I believe in a god? No, but I also don't care if I'm wrong. I don't have some answer for how **** was created/started and I honestly don't give a ****.
Bro I'm just out here trying to bang Diane from work, and maybe eat some pizza or something. **** man.
