Read what I wrote. That is from an email. He does go on to say that sick people should wear them because it can catch a sneeze and might stop the bigger droplets.

However he goes back to saying that they don’t work enough for him to recommend not needing a mask during this pandemic.

The other masks are not helpful from what I've read. They might be helpful though psychologically as some people want to believe they are doing something, anything to protect themselves and protecting others from the virus.
