"China will overtake the United States to become the world's biggest economy in 2028, five years earlier than previously estimated due to the contrasting recoveries of the two countries from the COVID-19 pandemic, a think tank said. "For some time, an overarching theme of global economics has been the economic and soft power struggle between the United States and China," the Centre for Economics and Business Research said in an annual report published on Saturday."

Let's be real. With Trump about to leave and the Biden administration about to start printing dollars like they are toilet paper, we all know at least a few more years should be knocked off this number. More like 2024 or 2025. Probably earlier when the USA fractures through civil war.

They still have little innovation and rely on stealing IP. One thing people seem uncomfortable talking about is how they're rapidly colonizing Africa. They play the long game. If Africa thought the Europeans were bad they'll look like angels compared to what the Chinese are going to so.

It’s unfortunate that US spent a lot of time, effort and money on pointless wars in middles east to protect the interest of certain countries in that region, while at the same time not focusing on the REAL concern which was/is China. While US was busy fighting and destroying Middle East. China was advancing and IS advancing at bullet speed to the top. Problem is US didn’t have a long term plans. Not talking about 5-10 years. I’m talking about 50+ years plan. China had and they are getting there.
Trumps America first is what actually accelerated this. Even a 10 years old kid with some brain would know that if you want to dominate, you need allies around the world, even if you don’t like them....my enemies friend....
It’s really SAD, because I LOVE American way of life and hate Chinese way of life but it looks like we gonna have to get used to some of their culture in 20 years.<3 Deephouse <3

Trump tried to fix it, but low IQ braindead leftist zombies are too difficult to deal with. Libs think that 600b annual trade deficit with China is good, that losing all our manufacturing to China is good, that IP theft is good. Leftist cucks enjoy being taken advantage of by China too much, it's their sick soy fetish that they have.
Now let's just put Democrats in charge, so all their "free stuff" money printer programs can devalue the dollar below the ****-stained toilet paper. China would love that.

I'm not sure I agree with that mention.
It will be interesting to see how China's economy does in the future. Under President Trump there was obviously not only an attempt to lessen trade with China for America but also to get other western countries to be more skeptical of working with China. Here of late I've been reading articles about Europe possibly being less willing to blindly work with China. As an example of this ~
"Angela Merkel faces European revolt over China trade policy"
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/o...a-trade-policy
excerpt:
German Chancellor Angela Merkel faces an embarrassing revolt against her China trade policy. While Merkel wants to conclude a massive European Union-China trade deal imminently, a rising chorus of voices is obstructing the agreement.
Their concern is clear: The EU cannot give China the political and economic benefits of a trade deal if Beijing continues to wage an ethnocidal campaign against its own people. EU officials close to Merkel had been confident that an agreement was near. But their hopes are now being dashed amid concerns about the deal that have been raised by the incoming Biden administration and an EU parliamentary vote that demanded that no deal be ratified without addressing forced labor concerns. Those concerns situate most specifically on China's use of its Uighur minority population as de facto slave labor.
But the really big problem for Merkel is that France has now shifted its position. While President Emmanuel Macron had supported a trade deal, in recent days, his ministers have adopted a different tone. Sensing that the political winds were shifting against a deal, France now says that forced labor concerns must be addressed. This has China panicking. According to the South China Morning Post, top Chinese Communist officials are now urgently pressuring other EU leaders to get a deal done. They want to conclude any agreement before Joe Biden enters office and provides carrots to the EU to avoid such a deal.
China's recovery strategy is likely too late.
Public attention has now been drawn to those parliamentarians pushing to force the issue of China's use of forced labor. Considering recent reporting on that forced labor program — it involves cotton picking practices in the vein of American 18th-century slavery, for example — it's hard to see how EU opinion doesn't shift further against Merkel. There's more. A leading parliamentarian in the anti-deal camp is now warning that he won't support an agreement unless China verifies it has actually suspended forced labor. This is an important distinction. After all, Communist China is very happy to sign agreements and then systematically break them; its record toward Hong Kong, climate change issues, and the ASEAN bloc are all evidence of its deceptive strategy.
The EU must stand firm.....

I thought they want Africa because they need a new developing continent who happens to double or triple in population in the next century to buy goods from China and have China horde in all of the $$$.
China's population seems to decline in the next century and with more people in their country going from lower class to middle they need a new continent to either use as their sweatshops or sell cheap goods to?
Even in my home country, a lot of name brand factories are opening and paying the average worker there peanuts while they sell for same price to westerns with $$$.

I believe he thinks a 99.95% survivability warrants a wild over reaction and quarantine procedures. Somehow he thinks science and math support this.
In reality, if you are not older than the average life expectancy and do not have 3 or more very serious medical conditions, your risk of being impacted by covid is lower than the risk of many, many other common activities we do daily. Science and math do support those statements.

The Japanese, a small country, cucked the chinese. The only people the chinese have successfully waged war on was themselves in their great 'unification' which they still haven't got right. LOL. Do you really think the chinese, who rely on child labor for GDP, are the future world rulers?

The trade embargo against China should have never ended. The Communist Party of China was poor and powerless until then, and would have likely collapsed around the same the the USSR did. Comrade Kissinger knew exactly WTF he was doing when he and Nixon went to China and shook hands with Chairman Mao and that this would be the outcome.
The vast amount of wealth that Americans have sent to China over the years since is so insanely astronomical that it's beyond belief. It has made the CCP wealthy and powerful far beyond their wildest dreams while at the same time destroying the US in so many ways.
There is one and only one rational decision now and that is cutting off all trade and all travel and all normal interaction with China[and all similar countries]. Given that the US government, media, and people in other key sectors are in bed and having unprotected sexual orgy with the Communist Party of China, that's unlikely to happen. The only way it would happen now is a full-blown revolution by the nationalist right and that's gonna require mass awareness and formal organization, which is unlikely to happen.
Instead the Great Reset scam coup plotters will likely succeed and the US will become a totalitarian state similar to China's with an unaccountable, unelected, uni-party government which ultimately owns and controls everything at will.
I understand what's going on and exactly how to fix it. So do many other Americans. However the vast majority are unaware and disorganized and walking through life like sheep to slaughter.

Capitalist and free countries cannot trade with socialist/communist/unfree/anti-capitalist/anti-freedom ones or even allow their people entry into our countries, if they expect their free and prosperous countries to remain free and prosperous that is.
The same thing that happened to the USSR would've happened to China also (at about the same time as the USSR) if we had never lifted our trade embargo with them. At the time we lifted the embargo, our GDP was exactly 100 times what China's was, their economy was in desperate trouble, the communist gov was begging for an end to the embargo because of that, and the people would've been able to successfully revolt for freedom within the next 20 years. Nixon/Kissinger's trip to China and end to the embargo was the biggest gift ever to communism. There would likely be no communist governments on the planet today if we had maintained the embargo.

No he didn't. He's simply been a controlled opposition for them, making a couple hundred million Americans -think- he's saving the country for them, when in reality he's assisting those destroying the US as we know it.
China's winning; Trump's pals like Soros pushing the Great Reset alongside the Communist Party of China are winning, and the US will become a totalitarian modeled after China's by 2030.
Trump is a Soros/Great Reset shill and on the same team as Biden despite what most of you falsely believe.
Trump is a key part of the problem - not a part of the solution. What Trump has done is an egregious, heinous, utterly evil crime against all of us.

Ivanka, Kusher Secretly Meet With George Soros At Hamptons Party
http://www.newspunch.com/ivanka-kush...oros-hamptons/
Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner were filmed secretly meeting up with billionaire elitist George Soros during a Hamptons party on Saturday.
The first daughter and the real estate developer met with both George Soros and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer at former WaPo editor Lally Weymouth’s Southampton home on Saturday.
As we previously reported, Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner has been exposed as having a secret business relationship with the billionaire Democrat.
According to financial disclosure forms released earlier this year, Kushner’s real-estate finance company called Cadre ended up borrowing $250 million from Soros in 2016.
Kusher came under fire for not disclosing the business relationship with the left-wing billionaire, who has been very vocal about destroying the Trump presidency in the last few months.
Kushner and Trump are both advisers to President Trump. Soros, a major donor to Democratic causes and an ardent opponent of Trump, has been accused by a number of Republicans of funding anti-Trump protesters.

2. George Soros Connection
After departing Goldman, Mnuchin went to work for SFM Capital Management, a firm backed by billionaire George Soros, known for bankrolling liberal causes and candidates. Mnuchin later worked directly for Soros Fund Management. During the 2016 campaign season, Soros donated heavily to Priorities USA Action, a pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC.
In 2004, Mnuchin departed to start his own hedge fund, Dune Capital Management. Bloomberg News reported that Dune "got hundreds of millions of dollars from Soros." Dune invested in at least two Trump projects, one in Waikiki, Hawaii, and another in Chicago, according to Bloomberg News.

That would be suicidal, stupid rich people decided to move ALL manufacturing to China to "make" more money.
If you suddenly stopped trading with China, it would mean you abandon all your factories and investment. The CCP would have no trouble just taking over all "your" **** that you left there and keep producing for their own. America needs a long term plan (10-20 years) to invest heavily in manufacturing locally to bring back production back to the US.
But this is not going to happen, the US got itself into a situation that is impossible to get out of without actual war.
I said it before in another thread: The US has fallen.
