Everything went to chit except television, but even that seemed to have peaked with GoT's early years.
With big conglomerates owning everything, creativity and originality went out the window and it all became about the $ so everything became mass appeal and generic.

Movies have been awful for sure.
I've been watching films from the 2000-2010 lately and can actually pay attention through the entire movie. I can't do that with most modern movies. The writing is just terrible with no originality.

Pop culture has always kind of sucked, but i agree with what someone said about how every popular song now being about love/romance/a relationship is too much. There's not enough conceptualising. The last person to do that was Kanye, and now he's a pariah in some sense.

Its all blended in now with sluts and normies broadcasting from their bedroom. Its like everyone can get their 15 minutes (whether that be boradcasting to 5 million or 5000 people) now and that has been to the detriment of the culture as a whole as most of that sh*t is reductive and throwaway made by people with little talent.
