Hasn't this movie been around for a good while? At work so I can't see it. I know I Gom'd through it once. Saw a lot of puking lol not really my thing so I didn't watch it. I do remember it had some pretty decent chicks.

Have any of you guys seen Smash Cut yet? I didn't hear anything about it until it became Rue Morgue's Cinemacabre of the month. Trying to figure out if it'll be worth booking out of work early to catch it or not. It's interesting to see that Sasha Grey is doing more non-porn work, hah.

For real. I'm pissed that it's not showing anywhere near me. However, on their site, it says that if it reaches 1,000,000 "demands" then it will play world wide and they're only 130,000 away. A couple of days ago it was only at about 3-400,000 so we might just be in luck

Saw Paranormal Activity last Sunday at 10:40 in Chicago (worked the next day too at 7:00).

That movie was damn good, 9.9/10. People we're leaving during it saying it was too scary. I heard a few people saying they felt like throwing up out of fear.

wow this sounds like all the hype that was surrounding the blair witch project when it came out...then I went to see it, and I threatened to beat the **** out of the theater mgr because it was such a bad movie

I suspect that the producers of Paranormal had every intention of releasing it nationwide evntually, but they came up with that "demand poll" as a publicity stunt. Hope all the hype isn't for nothing.

If that was the case then well done to them, i hope it's a real success at the box office.
It's good to see some horror flicks on top, Zombieland is doing well. If only it was out here already.

Police investigate apparent suicide of teen girl and uncover details of a teenage prostitution racket. They go on the hunt for a motorcycle riding killer.

Copied the plot from imdb for the person that requested details of the movies that get watched. Good idea btw.

I was actually expecting something a little more extreme than this, i don't know why. It was alright. Never really got too exciting but held a steady pace. The killer was a guy ina leather jacker who was always wearing his bike helmet, and he carried around a meat cleaver. Pretty badass.
Anyway i'd only give the movie 6.5/10, 7 might be pushing it. It was a good watch but nothing really excited me about it.

Recommend it , kinda original and not your typical teen flick . Solid acting and good plot idea .

Lol I think you're right, that thought never crossed my mind. It'll be interesting to see if more flicks follow this trend.

I think the difference between Paranormal activity and Blair Witch project is that in BWP it was the critics sucking the movies dick that it led to unrealistic expectations of the movie. Not to mention that most people thought that they were watching real event. With PA its both the critics and ppl who've actually watched it hyping it up, so I'm going to think it'll live up to the hype. I personally liked BWP for what it was, not for what it was pretending to be if that makes any sense to you guys.

Shrooms was a good flick, I recommend it as well.

Kinda depends on the person. There are some on here who would probably vehemently say that there is a difference and others, myself included, who say "horror, scary movies, brick-****ting stuff: It pretty much all Feels Good, Man."

LOL, you sound like my 10th grade teacher when the Blair Witch Project came out. He said it was so scary, he threw up. Then I went and saw it, and laughed at the end of the movie. Hopefully, Paranormal Activity isn't the same.

Man Hatchet was really ****ing good. Probably the best horror movie I've seen in years. Was really funny, great kills, just all so good. Was cracking up at the tony todd cameo in the beginning
