For a long while I was using myprotein because it's damn near dirt cheap when it goes on sale. The problem is I've recently learned you get what you pay for.
The quest protein is a blend of different proteins (milk, whey, + casein iirc), blends very well, the flavors are good, and has a good calories vs protein ratio (less sugar/filler)
Then I went back to myprotein, and ugh. I am forcing myself to use it.
I rarely, if ever, see quest protein go on sale. Are there other brands that are comparable? Even if they aren't cheaper, maybe they go on sale from time to time?
Thanks for the recommendations on where to get quest cheaper, or quest alternatives that are similar.

Do you drink quest protein? I remember a long time ago when I used it, it was very thick.
But as for the replacement with something WAY cleaner would be Nutrabio Muscle Matrix, no fillers or excipients, pure clean protein.

One, quest is prop blend...so the actual ratio of Isolate, Casein, Milk protein are unknown.
Two, there are different values to protein sources. WPI 80, WPI 90 for examples and the same in concentrates (Which can go much lower WPC35 - WPC80). Not all companies will use the highest form, due to many factors...price is often the main one. Now quest doesn't tell what form they use.
In ours you see it on the label WPI90 and you also see how the much of that protein actually yields for use.
I'm not saying anything is wrong with Myprotein, which he was talking about Quest. But labels tell the tale.
And not to mention the fillers other companies will throw in to boost up flavors and serving size.Last edited by Kon_Rock; 07-03-2018 at 08:00 AM.

If budget is a main priority, then Nitrotech Gold is one of few leading brands that are participating in the July 25% off sale. Chocolate, Dulce de Leche (sweet), and Van Funnel Cake (highly recommend with cinnamon) are my favorites

Quest did a pretty good job on their protein IMO
Some solid ones on the same level of quality
MAN Sports - Iso-Protein/Clean Whey - Their Clean Whey Unicorn Milk is a very good strawberry more milkshake than Quest's Strawberry but it's pretty good
Animal Whey
SAN Titanium Whey Banana Coconut & Tropical Berry
Xtreme Formulations Ultra Peptide Whey Arctic Lemonade
