Looking at finance/accounting careers, fuk me it looks depressing af.
Sometimes I seriously consider giving up all of it to become a 40 hr/week tradie/government worker. Sure it's less money but
Brb 9-5 go to the pub with workmates for drinks right after
Brb solid 8 hours of sleep
Brb weekends off
Brb a lot less stress
Brb stat holidays
VS
Brb looking at hedge funds 14 hours a day, 6 days a week. Just lol.
Please put me back on the right track and remind me what good comes out of this corporate slavery.

Don't let indolent, shiftless tradies fool you...they are miserable. They are surrounded by trash, they themselves are trash, never have money for the bills, bodies are in pain, always get cuckolded, always have one or two divorces and lose almost everything, kids are trash because raised by trash...etc,etc,etc
Put in the effort and you will get the just reward. Ambition+morals/ethics= success and happiness. Laziness+lower class mentality/behavior = tradie

Cash = freedom
This life we live isn't perfect. I used to think life was all about "experience" and that people who wasted their time at work were suckers
Then I realized every life is pointless so you might as well earn some cash to live it up for the free time you do have
Without funds youre basically limited to hiking and begging

Take a good hard look at what you want to prioritize in life.
That's the only way to truly decide where to focus your energy and the type of path to pursue.
To some extent you can't have it all and there's going to have to be trade-offs...remember that how you spend your days is how you spend your life.
Too often something short term that is "only for a little while" ends up becoming your normal.‾\_(ツ)_/‾

I'm at 130k for 40/wk at 30. Not a bad spot to be in. 30% of that time is spent miscing.
When you're in your early 20's you should take whatever job will pay you the most and save as much as possible, in your 30's and later transition to a less stressful job and you'll be set for life because of what you put away in your 20's.no crew crew
