I know we got a lot of collectors of vintage equipment here. while i know many of you guys are opportunistic and pick up what you can, when you can, but are there any projects you guys are working on right now?
Here's my 2-75 pound vintage York dumbbell collection that i've been putting together over the past few months. i'm still missing a few increments but what do you guys think so far?
i admit it needs some work, but i feel in time it'll come together.
now you guys share

I'm slowly getting a York Roundhead DB collection going. I have 20s, 30s, 40s, 55s, 95s and a lone 100.
Grabbing the discontinued Ivanko CBP calibrated plates (the chrome ones) has been on the list, but becomes ever harder as the years roll by. They'll eventually become vintage, so I might as well start early.
Dom, are you going for just any York DB or are you specifically collecting globes?Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59
Lifts no one cares about:
SQ: 619x1 (suit bottoms, no belt) / 507x1 (raw, no belt)
BP: 392x1 (pause bench, raw)
DL: 500x1 (suit bottoms, no belt)

I've been collecting grey hairs and belly fat. Going well, so far.
The belly fat isn't all that difficult to find, but the greys are a different story...especially at the rate they are currently fleeing the [formerly prime] real estate on the top of my head."What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

wait you have hair?
i've already noticed more than a handful of greys in my mane...nothing too bad, but enough to notice. i've had my happy fat for a long time now...wouldn't mind trading them in for something nicer, like some deltoids..but it just seems like so much work...Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

I am slowly putting together a set of unmarked York plates to go with deep dish 45s.
You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Haven't been able to "rep" many of you for a year or more...not for lack of trying.

I'll get some up tonight! I have 2 pairs of the BFCO 45's and a single 25lb plate, not the most accurate plates in the world but I would have a gym loaded with them if I had the chance. My Billard set is coming along, I just got a pair of 25's that need painted badly so I'm hoping the weather stays decent so I get those done.
