Cut and then Bulk or do both at the same time?

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and was seeking some advice. I am a 14 year old male who is 5' 6'' and weighs 150 pounds. I would say fat contributes to about 25-30 pounds of my total weight. Because I am trying out for my school's Varsity soccer team as starting keeper, I need to prove that I am in excellent physical shape and want a desirable physique. I know that I have muscle underneath my fat because I can squat 240 and bench 130 and am generally in decent shape. Unfortunately, those extra pounds are really killing my look.

So this makes me wonder, should I cut most of my fat and then start bulking or should I mix cardio and lifting into my weekly workouts. I have heard that if I cut weight training out of my workout, I could experience muscle loss in my upper body. But if I try balancing the two out, I won't lose enough weight for wrestling and will probably be discouraged if I don't see major changes. What do you guys recommend?

You can't lose weight and gain muscle at the same time. I'd suggest bulking then cutting.
I get bigger when I cut.

This. Your first statement is debatable but is for the most part true.

If you are 14 and not obese you should not be in a caloric deficit
