Okay guys, lately I got some bad recovery lately during my peak because of my night shift job (I was hired in the mid of my peak)
I hit all the numbers and reps during the peak except for this week (last week of my peak before I deload for competition). It's such a bad week!
My expectations all went down. I used to triples 340lbs squat 13 WEEKS ago! but this week.. my 345lbs looks like a 2-3ish attempt.
I asked my boss if I could pull some slack to work on day time (I work online) so I can have a good sleeping patterns because I'm not used to spend late at night.
Next week is already my deload...
Any advice ? I already have my tentative numbers for attempts but not really sure if I could pull them off.

You will probably need to accept the fact that you will not be as strong as you expected on meet day and prepare for that...UNLESS your peak was constructed poorly.
More than likely...it's both. My advice would to be to just do your best and get used to the new schedule..adapt and then get ready for the next one.All Time WR Squat: 785 @ 220 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0GtHNRdHeM

Just kiss this meet goodbye and treat 345 like a 3rd. Not being a dick but I am speaking from experience.
I was hitting 525 regularly before I switched to Bulgarian peaking method for my meet. By the peak 495 was way to slow and heavy. I went off old numbers and made 505 my 2nd attempt and got stapled on the 2nd/3rd in the hole. Wasn't worth not checking my ego.Last edited by JRMoore82; 08-05-2016 at 06:52 PM.

I'm not a competitive lifter, but I do work all hours and frequently only get a few hours of interupted sleep some nights of the week. It does effect me greatly some days I don't even have it in me to lift.
But at the end of the day, as the guy above said to an extent you may have to throw in the towel. Just push yourself to be stronger the next time but realize your job is more important than a PR.OHP - 225 (Strict Standing)
