I was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday in broad daylight. They even put me on the floor and put a gun up to my head execution style. For some reason they didn't pull the trigger. I have also almost been robbed 3 other times on seperate occasions
but was able to escape the other times. Luckily I am unscathed.
I have realized that I need a gun for protection. I've never shot a gun in my life though. Price isnt an issue for the most part. I need something for personal protection that I can reload load fast, isn't hard to use, won't jam, can be drawn fast, and has a decent amount of bullets in the chamber

Yeah I think I'm gonna start carrying at all times too. I just need some advice. Please link that thread to me with all the info.
I couldn't avoid it. Two dudes ran up on me in broad daylight and closed the distance between me and them. They pinned me up against my car and put a gun to my stomach. There was no way to fight back. The world is crazy now. I need a gun

One thing i don't get when people say, "i need to start carrying a gun to help me if i get robbed by an armed mugger"...The guns not going to be in your hand and if an armed mugger pull a gun on you approches you out of nowhere (like they tend to do) you are not going to be able to de-holster and load your gun before they shoot you.
Even if they have no intention of shooting you, your sudden movements might make them panic and shoot you.
edit: not a liberal

Some 13,286 people were killed in the US by firearms in 2015, according to the Gun Violence Archive, and 26,819 people were injured [those figures exclude suicide]. Those figures are likely to rise by several hundred, once incidents in the final week of the year are counted.
How the US compares: The number of gun murders per capita in the US in 2012 - the most recent year for comparable statistics - was nearly 30 times that in the UK, at 2.9 per 100,000 compared with just 0.1.
Of all the murders in the US in 2012, 60% were by firearm compared with 31% in Canada, 18.2% in Australia, and just 10% in the UK.
not eliminated but sure as hell controlled, good luck with your staying alive goals of 2016 and beyond
edit: you look like a radicalized cuckThe goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.

No I saw two dudes coming up down the road. They looked like trouble. They did a double take, then ran up on me fast. I knew something bad was coming. They them put bandanas on their face as they were running up. If I had a gun, I could have drawn on them or at least been ready to draw. If my draw was fast enough this wouldn't have happened. They didn't pull their weapon till the last second.
