I work each of my primary movements twice a week (2 squat, 2 lower pull, 2 overhead press, 2 chest press, 2 pullup, 1 row) - but there is overlap between them in the muscles used so the frequency on certain muscles is higher.
Sun: bench (3-4) x 5 -- front squat 3x8 -- chest, quads
Mon: pullup (3-4) x 5 -- btn press 3x(8-10) -- delts, traps
Tue: back squat 3 x 5 -- bb row 3x8 -- abs, bis
Wed: military (2-4) x 5 -- romanian 3x(7-8) -- pc, delts
Thu: pullup (3-4) x 5 -- db bench 3x(8-10) -- chest, bis
Fri: deadlift 1x5, 3x3 -- quads, low backLast edited by SuffolkPunch; 04-01-2016 at 07:45 AM.

I train for powerlifting, so I dedicate two days to each lift. Most muscles get trained twice a week (some more, some less)

What do you guys think of a split like this? Monday and Friday chest and back Tuesday and Thursday arms and shoulders Wednesday and Saturday legs? Bigger muscle groups get more rest time. A friend of mine recommend it and it seems pretty reasonable if you have the time? The thing about upper lowers is that I feel like I still have the energy for a couple exercises for my back or something. And it will take way to long to add any more in there

So..
S: Rest
M: Chest + Back
T: Shoulders + Arms
W: Legs
T: Shoulders + Arms
F: Chest + Back
S: Legs
I dont like it. You hit your front delts hard when you hit chest, and you want to isolate them the day after, give them one rest, isolate, then chest again?
What's wrong with a P/P/L split?B: 320
S: 435
D: 510
OHP (Strict): 210
Front Squat (ATG): 315
