First off i want to thank ProMera Sports and Stncldsnake for the chance to try this product.
I have been a little off my game the past few months and this will be a great chance for me to get back where i want to be before the Spring.
A little about me.. I have been a member here since 2005. I don't post much but i read a lot.
I have never been one of those selfie people my friends say i must be wanted because you never really see pictures of me unless i am running in a race. I have won my age group a number of times so they always take your pic for that..yeah and you look really good after you have been running...right...
So anyway..i just turn 50 on New Years Day and feel great about it. I just can't understand who lie about their age. I am in better shape now than when i was 20..i am not sure if that is a good or bad thing
I exercise at home. I have free weights, pull up bar, treadmill,Bosu,bench,step bench,barbell,kettle bells,yoga stuff.
My routine is up at 4:30am every morning,run 5k then 30 minutes of yoga. I lift 3x a week
I am very excited to meet my team mate and get this journal going..i am not a heavy lifter but i enjoy lifting..i hope i don't bore you to tears...

Today's Recap
It was a lovely day here. I spent most of it outside reading. I can't wait for the spring. Winter is just depressing for me. I have a hard time staying on plan i just want to watch Netflix or Amazon and eat popcorn...Hey it's the air popped kind so it's not all bad..
Today was just a cardio day so i ran 5k this morning and 2 more miles this afternoon.

Good Morning..
Well it was good until i stepped on the scale..Yeah we have all been there you know it's all fun until it's time to pay the piper. I can't do carbs and when i do there is HELL to pay. So yes i have been enjoying my Maple and Brown Sugar Mini Wheats..Lord those things are like crack. Popcorn the list goes on..I am proud to say i have been alcohol free since the day after my birthday Jan.2nd.. My favorite drink was Not Your Fathers Root Beer..
So back to my weight...I was 125 for my Halloween race and now i am up 10 pounds. So today is day one back on the no carbs bandwagon. Good Bye Mini Wheats i will miss you so.....

Hi Everyone,
I little late getting here today
It was such a nice day i spent most of it outside reading..can you believe it was 70*..last weekend it was 30.
No lifting today just running and yoga
So i started a running streak August 23rd of last year. I have run at least two miles everyday since that day..
So today was day 183. I started yoga on my birthday two years ago and have not missed a day. Most people are put off by yoga beacuse they think they need to do some hour long class.. I began yoga because i had a number of running injuries that just kept coming back..pulled hamstrings,calf muscles ect..but after two months of at least 15 mins a day i have been injury
free...
