UFC is not happy with Conor. Very icy relationship. He’s trying to change their business model.https://twitter.com/anthonycreasey/s...039104/video/1 <-- Frank Fertita going off during the fightFrontRowBrian® ********@FrontRowBrian 1h1 hour ago

the figure going around is Conor is looking for $20 million per fight. With boxing model, not an outrageous demand

You can tell there's some tension. Dana never creams himself over Conor, even though he has/is making them ridiculous amounts of money and is putting on amazing performances every time. Dana has been the big boss for so long, even guys like GSP and Anderson treated him like the king. Jon Jones refused to and Dana has shat on him at every opportunity.
How can you blame Conor? $10m gates, back to back huge PPV numbers and he's probably taking a tiny % of that (even though it's still a lot of money).

Good ufc doesn't pay chit anyway. Conner was already getting good money compared to a lot of others in ufc. Plus they paid for his camp but he definitely made them way more than they've paid

wonder if he's ridiculously happy or ridiculously mad? happy that Conor won, mad that it ended so soon or mad that this gives Conor big negotiation power? much questions. definitely looks mad to me.
i also thought it was pretty weird that Dana wasn't at the presser. even his interview back stage, he didn't seem overly happy. Ronda armbars part timers and he can't keep the smile off his face.

Hopefully a few others big names jump on board to demand better pay. Conor and Ronda are the only active fighters that have been really able to promote themselves, and who knows what will happen if Rousey gets chit on again by Holm. Jones has done well also, but most of his marketing was done by the police.

watched the main card at the bar last night. so many casuals in there. no matter if a title is only the line, in any weight class, usually it's not a big fight. Mac is the Big Fight. And deserves to be paid accordingly.
Pick a champ, (except Mac), the casuals and paying public don't care. But they'd show up or buy the ppv to see macgregor vs. a washing machine. sorry MM, dillashaw, rockhold, lawler, even Werdum who I love, Mac's the big show. Pay the Kent

That is a bit much, but it really was the Conner show. Everything else was boring in comparision. It was also pretty insane watching Conner at the presser literally being the show lol

Mirin Conor with his balls of steel and giving no fuks if this is true. But cmon, $20 million??? Not even Anderson got paid anywhere near close to that per fight
Well either way, the UFC pays their fighters jack **** when they participate in one of the most grueling sports ever, so I wish him luck lol

He wants to go the boxing route, like co promote his own shows with the UFC. He talked about it a few fights back, and again, everyone laughed and thought he was crazy. If he wins a few more fights, it could possibly happen. He's already a mega star in the MMA world, if he properly breaks into the mainstream it's over for the UFC.
