I've been lifting for about 4 months now, been making some progress in pretty much everything. Main goal is to gain weight obv.
I go to the gym right after school, (after a small pre-workout snack) and I am a little drained of energy after a school day. Should I use a pre-workout sup and or creatine? If so, when in the day and how much?
Btw the one supplement I have rn is cellucor whey, which i take 2 scoops of post workout.

Eat more food. Perhaps get up earlier and workout in the AM before school.

We don't give supp advice to kids under 18, just for legal reasons, but also because at your age, you just don't need it. Just eat some carbs before you lift and maybe have some poptarts and meat like I enjoy doing post workout

Your 16
Eat Food, not invest in supplements
First you are under 18 years of age, So due to liability issues being a company rep you should first read these 2 threads and why we cannot recommend supplements to those under 18 years of age:

These would be a great place to start

I would up your calories during the day so you are not feeling hungry. Creatine is not food. Your choice of whey is fine. Your 16 years old. I don't think you need to be using creatine at 16

You do not need whey at 16 years old.
You just need more food. Period.
You can easily eat more than 2500-2700. that comes down to your food choices
PB & J Sandwiches
PB & Fluff Bagels
mix a full fat yougrt + Banana + Granola + 3-4 TBSP Peanut butter in a bowl for an easy amount of kcals (almost 1000) if portions are right
Pasta + 90/10 Beef + 2 TBSP Oil = Easy kcals and wont bloat you one bit
The reason why its hard to reach that intake is because you make it hard.

at 16 .
You need to start here
The word clean is subjective
http://wannabebig.com/diet-and-nutri...-clean-eating/
A legitimate question is, what’s the best way to distribute discretionary calories? Should they be confined to a daily limit, or can it be a weekly limit? The best answer is to let personal preference decide. If we use a 2000 kcal diet as an example, a flat/linear approach would mean that 200-400 kcal per day can come from whatever you want, while meeting essential needs otherwise in the diet. Weekly, this translates to 1400-2800 kcal, depending on the factors I previously discussed. One nonlinear option would be to break the weekly allotment in half, where 2 days per week you indulge in 700-1400 kcal of whatever you want, keeping the remaining 5 days relatively Spartan. Again, there is no universally superior method of distributing the discretionary allotment. The same principle applies to the choice of foods to fulfill it. Honoring personal preference is one of the most powerful yet underrated tactics for achieving optimal health and body composition. And that’s the nitty-gritty as I see it.
