Have Music Playing While Showering - I see this all the time at the gym, dudes will put their phones on the shower bench, or bring their phones in the shower with them (assuming water proof case). Play some music, and then proceed to shower. Doesn't make sense, you can barely hear it over the noise of the water. (inb4 OP gay for watching other dudes shower, etc....)


Joint Bank Accounts with GF/Wife - This has to be stupidest thing a guy can do and makes no sense whatsoever. Anyone care to explain any possible benefits of this? (not including benefits for the woman, ex: Can drain your account if you break up)

It makes perfect sense if you have a home and/or family together.

Loan/bills/living expenses all come out of the one account.

Also I have a joint back account with my wife. BUT, we each contribute the same amount each month and it is used to pay shared bills only. Mortgage, utilities, groceries etc. only way to do it imo

Extreme Multitasking - I had a roommate who would be reading a comic book, watching a movie, playing a gameboy, and listening to music, all at the same time. basically he had one ear bud plugged into his laptop to hear the movie, and another ear bud in his other ear listening to his iPod. He would read the comic book and occasionally glance up at the movie he was watching. The gameboy was on, and he would hit a few buttons every couple of minutes without even looking at it (must have been farming in some RPG?). Seriously blew my mind, never asked him about it though.

Still doesn't make sense, because you can easily decide who is going to pay what bill and make them all automated. If one of the two of you don't have enough money in your account to cover the bills, then you have some serious issues.

Also most women will have a secret account that their husbands/boyfriends don't know about. They will build up an emergency stash with their money and use yours for spending.

GF and I have a join account, sure as fuk ain't stupid. We figured out exactly what we pay a month in bills, car insurance, gas, rent, food, internet/cable/phones, dog food, etc. Cut that number in half and at each pay we put 1/4 into the joint. Every necessity gets paid 50/50. The rest goes into our personal accounts.

If you think thats dumb, have fun when you end up paying 80% of everything.

Yes we each have our own personal accounts that paychecks go into, and personal bills come out of. Then Once a month each write a check out to our joint account...same amount every month. It really is a a awesome system.....way better than him paying some bills and her paying some others.,,.as someone suggested above.

I can understand a separate account that is joint and used only for bills and expenses. What I don't understand is people who have all their bank accounts joined. In my opinion, the risky outweighs the convenience.
