Hey everyone,
I was just wondering what your personal intake on recovery after cutting is?
Like after how many days/weeks/months do you guys feel back to normal and recovered again? Meaning normal appetite, energy, mood not feeling cold etc., basically everything that gets affected to cutting down to a lean level (10% or so). So feeling good recovered and good again.
Not talking about contest lean, just someone out of shape who got a decently lean and wants to maintain that.
Would love your input and experience on this. Are there maybe some studies?
Thanks and sorry for the bad english!
P.S. I'm asking in this section, since you guys seem to have much experience with this topic, I hope that is ok!

In my experience the side effects which you mention are not seen unless you get well below 10%. This may be related to your body's natural body fat set point. The research that has been done regarding hormones and the acute changes which occur during contest prep were done on bodybuilders which both obtained very low body fat, enough to be Natural Pro's. Chris Fahs was the first and Peter Fitchen was he second and only two I know of. The results were very similar. To answer your question in my opinion. Both studies showed it was proportional to recover with the amount of time in the deficit.
