-Just cause you don't go to college, doesn't mean you can't be successful. College is the biggest scam
-College GPA doesn't mean chit, unless you are going for masters or internships.
-College doesn't prepare you for jack chit about the real world.
-There will always be losers in the world. This everyone is a winner/special chit is miss leading
-The best way to stay employed is do anything you are asked, even if you are inexperienced. People will teach you and it looks good on you.
-You are never too good to work a minimum wage job. Everyone has to start somewhere
-Put at LEAST whatever your company will match in your 401K
-There isn't someone for everyone. People go trough their entire life not finding someone to spend it with
-Unless you are going for a special position, a masters degree barely increases your salary

some careers are only available through a college education if that's what you want
GPA doesn't mean anything? What if you want to transfer into a top school? some majors the school really does matter

Advice - don't listen to these.
Go to college and get the highest GPA you can get. Yes, it's not essential, but doing so will make your path much, much easier. Employers suck your dick when you have a high GPA and go to a decent school. Plus, college will provide you with additional knowledge difficult to gain elsewhere. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't been in the position.

Every human is the same
Why would he succeed and not you? Because he was DUMB ENOUGH to believe he could.
Work hard and smart.
It's not about how much money you make but what you make with your money.
Do you REALLY NEED that BMW at the end of your degree to feel cool or rather cashdown on realestate and be rich in a few years while them others are still paying off their debt

Not everyone is out to help you, be weary if those who care more about moving up than having your back. They're usually the type who'll screw you over for their own benefits. Sometimes people are very subtle about their motives too so you'll have to keep your guard up just incase.

You speak the truth. Getting a BA and a BA only, more often than not, is a fuking waste of time. Especially in the USA, you hear all the hype about 'starting a college fund' and going to college being the ultimate goal and that you will fail at life if you don't go. Bullschit. The emphasis on university here in Canada is lessened, but it's all the same schit. I worked my ass off and am currently in graduate school pursuing a PhD in the medical field. This is what I wanted to do. A BA in science would have given me absolutely nothing. College can get you a good job, but you need to go past the BA.
You also don't need college to get a good job.
Careers are a human invention. I don't intend on working 40 hours a week for the rest of my life. There are other things I'd rather do with my time.*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

And along those lines IF money is important to you, then DO NOT piss it away on cars. Set aside the lust for that shiny new whatever, and actually do the math on interest paid vs. depreciation. And if you don't believe it, or think you made a mistake, do it again... Then ask yourself where all that money goes.
"Do you think SHE actually felt like that was a sexual thing he was doing? She's like 6. Only an actual p3do would think that she thought he was groping her, too."
"Not that it's impossible to touch a minor inappropriately, but it is true that a 6 year old girl will not recognize someone putting a hand on their chest as groping, whether it is inappropriate or not."

If you work in a field full of people who are not very socially adept (engineers, scientists, computer stuff, etc), being social can bring you a lot of benefit. Study up on 48 Laws of Power, all that how to make friends chit. In the experience of myself and several friends in related fields, getting people to like you can be very easy and will get you far.
