well that was the 70's and lots of things has changed in bodybuilding since then. Ronnie is definitly bigger than arnold but i find arnold to be more aesthetically pleasing. If i were a judge i would pick the arnold in the 70's to win over the Ronnie of today. Back then size didnt always matter and that's why Frank Zane won mr. olympia three times, but nowadays size is always a priority.

Ronnie's only "proportian" problems were small calves and a belly. Arnold had small triceps in comparison, relatively poor shoulders, no quads, hams or glutes to speak of, an okay at best back. He was chest with biceps and some calves.
He can't touch this. The only person who can touch 1998 Ronnie is 1993 Wheeler.

And as far as the question goes...my pick would be coleman. Arnie wouldn't stand a chance verses most pros of today, by today's judging standards. Weather it be coleman, cutler, levrone, cormier, tutus, priest....arnold wouldn't stand a chance. His physique was good for it's time...but it's dated. PeaceREPS ARE ALWAYS GOOD

Arnolds shoulders weren`t poor and his overall feature kills Ronnies because he looks normal NOT like some Anabolic junkie who spends 6 hours a day in the gym and goes to competitions with a protruded belly. And who has 7 olympia titles ..not Ronnie... just look at the score sheet.
Amen. If you have a potbelly you don't deserve to win.I can bench 870lbs cold...Im not joking.

Bitching about one body part doesn't cut it. Aside from his abs, which is a mixture of a short torso, which he can do nothing about, and just being so big, Ronnie kills Arnold in back, triceps, shoulders, and the entire leg region. So, shut up.Making it my job to educate the younguns...

I know i'm not the only one that thinks ronnie is an ugly mess.Ronnie may be bigger but he can never do the stomach vacuum that Frank Zane can do so well. Having a great set of abs do count too and Ronnie just fails miserably in that department. But judges nowadays dont really count that up too well . Arnold's physique is more aesthetically pleasin to me considerin his large bone/fram structure.
