    Big Al's Big food diary

So i plan to write an article soon on my basic diet and nutritional tips. I studied medicine in england so have a lot of scientific knowledge and have always been very physically active my whole life. So as a result i believe i have a good balance of theory and practice regards what works in a diet.

Of course though im a strongman not a bodybuilder and like most normal people dont like being on a strict diet all year round. So i thought it would be just as useful to write for you guys a food diary to show what i actually eat on a normal everyday diet. Obviously what i do for me works as i get great results in the gym and am well on my way towards competing in stringman, but try what works for you as well.

So here is what ive eaten today:

    Boost 1ltr energy drink
    Calories: 470kcal
    Carbs: 120g

    Lunch:
    Bonless chicken breast strips (270g)
    Calories: 590kcal
    Protein: 47g
    Carbs: 36g
    Fat: 27g

    Dinner:
    450g stuffed chicken
    Calories: 800
    Protein: 100g
    Carbs: 30g
    Fat: 30g

And thats it. I havent snacked today except for a bottle of energy drink. I hope to do this on a regular basis to show you the kind of diet i respond from.

I have a youtube video related to diet also you can find it here: youtube.com/watch?v=8-NdfMWOAdo&feature=youtube_gdata_player

So as i said i would try making my food diary a more regular appearance i think doing this every week rather than daily is probably the best way as it shows my total consumption over a period of time rather than daily which can vary significantly.

I also have a video on what i eat as a strongman on my youtube channel... why not check it out
