I've heard pretty much all of the positive advantages that squatting brings (release of test/GH, king of hypertrophy exercises, etc) , but, because I'm much more concerned about being aesthetically proportional, I'm tempted to give up squats and maybe even deadlifts.
The reason being is I have a pear fat distribution (most of my fat goes to my thighs and butt area), and the last month and a half i've been bulking. My legs have EXPLODED while my upper body is lagging behind. Same thing goes with my butt - I don't want it to be massive just for the sake of being able to say I squat heavy weight.
What should I do?
For reference,
I currently can squat a max of maybe ~280-285.

girls like a nice ass on guys srs. make sure to put as much mental focus on upprbody lifts as much as squats and lower body lifts. do that and you should have a nice, proportionate body. women will laugh at you when your shirt is off and you take off your pants for smex, and have tiny chicken legs.
