Recorded the drive from my house to the express way this morning. Also the drive back later in the day. Sorry if its shaky. Detroit streets arent the smoothest and I was trying to concentrate on driving. That miley song doe.. my ****.
Some notables. They just cleaned up a dead dog that was in the street for 3 months. Progress! That abandoned school is pretty sweet. Probably less than 10 of the houses you see in these vids are livable. And youll also notice people just throw there trash anywhere to avoid paying for a garbage service.
This is eastside detroit

You think they would just build a big dump that everyone brings garbage to.
Are most homes abandoned on each block? Is there still a lot of arsons?Friday night. Date night in Miami. Every night is a date night in Miami, and everyone's having sex. But for me, sex never enters into it. I don't understand sex. Not that I have anything against women, and I certainly have an appropriate sensibility about men, but when it comes to the actual act of sex, it's always just seemed so undignified. But I have to play the game.

Getting worse, I can see many old houses have been torn down or have fallen down. Really sad, it was picture perfect middle class America back in the day.
I hope you are being sarcastic, Detroit is probably the most Democratically controlled city in the US, has not had a GOP governor since I think 1960.

Thats crazy man... I thought Miami had some ****ty places but that is serious. The school was crazy, how do schools go out of business? like uwotm8....
Whats the ratio of decent neighborhood to that? Do you guys even have rich neighborhoods? Is it pretty cheap to live in a decent place since everything is like that?
Sorry for my ignorace, I've been out of the country but never anywhere in the US but Miami.

There are 4 livable areas in Detroit for the most part. Indian Village/Midtown/Downtown/Corktown. Outside of those areas... its pretty much all a giant wasteland. Detroit is a massive city too; so those 4 places only account for a very small area of detroit. Its pretty much dirt cheap to live in detroit. There are many houses for sale here for 1$, but its still not a good investment do to the amount of improvements youd have to make to make it livable. Not to mention these are dangerous areas so no one wants to live there. Youd also probably owe thousands in back taxes on the house.
Its in bad shape, it should be nice to see what our new mayor can do.
