Just e-mailed my gym this vid of my disaster of a club from yesterday...

Sick and tired of this crap; used my own e-mail address which they have in their system (I'm registered for their newsletter) so they will know who I am.

We'll see if they revoke my membership or not....

This was about 5:15am or so yesterday morning (15 minutes after they open) and there was only one other guy in the gym besides me:




And this was the last one I took, and I included it as well to show that it wasn't an isolated incident:

I will also note the woman that I had words with at the other location near me has been doing an excellent job of cleaning that place up. She makes a point to tell each member that the place is organized and asks them to help her keep it that way.

Never seen a gym that bad. It's unusual to see stuff laying around at my gym, except for leg press machine that one always seems to be loaded.

Management is clueless.

There's a guy operating as a PT there not affiliated with the club and they can't even figure it out. I called it first time I saw him. Been watching him ever since. Was in today with a brand new client. Status confirmed.

The local gym obviously knows the conditions and doesn't care, but I think corporate would be very interested.

As mentioned, main angle should be Health and Safety, falling over stuff left on the floor could result in a big problem for them, not to mention access to fire escapes etc.

Someone really needs to be hauled over the coals for this continued mess.

Flex, you have mentioned it was messy when you get there at 5am but that video is way beyond anything I imagined for a commercial gym. The manager and some employees really need to be fired over that repeated safety hazard.

OMG, DUDE! As the video started, I could feel my neck and shoulders start to tense up and by the end my temples hurt. This chit sends me through the roof. I walked into my gym and 5:05 last Monday to the same garbage and you just made me realize I need to video it before I start playing mom to these ass hats that can't pick up after themselves.

It is actually an urban circuit training system. You go around and clean up the gym as fast as you can. Cardio and lifting at the same time.

I do not like searching high and low for equipment because it is strewn all about the place. Plus safety is a real concern.

Enabler was the minor issue; I'd finish my set and be like "Lisa it's your set" and she'd be on the other side of the gym putting someone else's dumbbells back on the rack.

When i belonged to the Y it was the same crap.The paying members took care to put things back. The free welfare cases were the ones who threw stuff all over. Shame they get a break and not respect it.
