you'd be a fool to give a muscle as small as a bicep as many sets as one as large as the quad or back muscles. smaller muscle groups require less work.

After switching to an upper lower split (muscles work 2x week) from a 4 day split (muscles worked 1x) I found it a lot easier to increase weight in almost all exercises I do. Strength gains have also come faster because of this. Hopefully my weight and size will go up faster too.
But that's just me, I don't know how your body will react.

It's not really a push/pull/legs though is it?

But OP perhaps look in to a ppl though if you want to work out each muscle group twice a week or a upper lower rest upper lower etc. A full leg session with shoulders and forearms seems way to much unless your neglecting your legs.

    This would be much better.

Your program OP is kind of crap.
Training Chest 2x a week as well as Shoulders 2x a week . . . on seperate days, and consecutive days. That's just bad programming.
And legs really shouldn't be mixed with anything.

    in summary:
    Chest/Shoulders/Tris
    Back/Bis
    Legs
    repeat

That amount of frequency if training hard to failure will kill a natural person. I would personally move backwards so fast like that.
